Tall and Small, Easting exhibits four local favourites.
This December be sure to see new works from local GAPACC artists in the Tall and Small Café and Easting Bread and Honey Co. in downtown Antigonish. On December 1st, at 5:30, please be sure to join us as GAPACC is proud to present member artists Alice Hoskins, Kate Georgallas, Inge Hungershausen and Gerry Hills.
The work of Alice Hoskins has been pre-eminent and predominant in Antigonish, as her successful career has spanned many generations. Her insightful works and unmistakable charm is well loved by Antigonish and we look forward to seeing her newest work.
Gerry Hills and Inge Hungershausen are both landscape-based artists located in beautiful parts of our world. Gerry is located on “The mini Cabot trail” and Inge is nestled in Cleveland Cape Breton, currently she works with delicate watercolours. Her vibrant tones, creamy shapes and scenes often gently bleed into a surreal abstraction.
Sheep In Shed by Kate Georgallis
Kate Georgallas is drawing professor at the St FX. Art Department and will be showing some works that explore a sense of humour.
This is an excellent shop and talk opportunity as all works are for sale and for the entire Holiday Season. So come in celebration as there will be complimentary refreshments and good Art banter provided at the Tall and Small and easting bakery from 5:30 – 6:30.
Show runs until the New Year.
